Mae West dominated the 1930's as a sultry, sexy screen queen, although she was neither pretty nor conventional looking.

Her defining role was in "My Little Chickadee," opposite W.C. Fields. Other notable films include: "She Done Him Wrong", "I'm No Angel", and "Myra Breckinridge."

Although West's films (many of which she wrote) were filled with sexual innuendo, and despite the fact that she tended to surround herself with good looking musclemen in her private life, Golden Age Hollywood insiders claim that Mae was always more interested in power than sex. More
