Warren Beatty with Liz Taylor

"Warren? To be in love with Warren Beatty? What girl can run that fast?" - Eliza Kazan. He is without a doubt one of, if not the most, intriguing stars of his generation. A pretty boy portraying Clyde, in 1967's "Bonnie and Clyde", and portraying it well, helped avoid any criticism from viewers, and cast him in the limelight for inevitable future stardom. In the years to follow, Beatty would dazzle, amaze, and swoon his audiences in films, such as 1971's "McCabe and Mrs. Miller", "Shampoo" (1975), 1981's "Reds", and a film that was easily his finest latter-day performance, 1991's "Bugsy". He's one of the only actors known to continue being such a successful actor through a series of decades where many new stars were born. Yet with confidence and perseverance, did I mention sheer talent, Beatty has remained on top. (CD) Warren's Home / 1960's
