With Jamie Lee Curtis in
"True Lies"
|
He is the man of steel and perfection, causing men to
be envious, and women to be awestruck. His body is a work of art, and
the canvas which seems to be made of steel, not flesh; but believe it
or not, there is a heart deep down beneath that rock hard surface. Only
through time, have directors allowed you to see that, and the results
have been beneficial. Before his Hollywood career even took off, he
had already achieved numerous, high-status awards, winning multiple
times the title of Mr. Universe.
Yet when his career did take off, he made a lasting
impression. Who could forget his infamous words, "I'll be back".
Movies, like "Pumping Iron" (1977), "The Terminator"
(1984), "Total Recall" (1990), and "Terminator 2: Judgment
Day" (1991), only added to his success and label Arnold as being
a rock hard action hero. It wasn't until films like "Kindergarten
Cop", "Twins", and "Junior", did we really
get to see the funny, sensitive guy that lay beneath the outer-shell.
And funny indeed! He has proven throughout time to be more than just
a body-building blockhead, but a real gentleman. And the irony in all
of this? He couldn't care less about your opinion. He's just living
his life, and doing what he loves. (CD)
