More About Cameron Diaz... Cameron M. Diaz was born on August 30, 1972, in San Diego, California. At 16, she started her modeling career, and spent 5 years traveling around the world. Her nick name is Cami. Described herself as being an "adventurous, independent and a tough kid." She was on her high school’s dance team, and danced at foot ball games, during half time. Graduated from Long Beach Poly High School, Class of 1990. Cameron's first film was THE MASK. Then after some low cost, independent film projects, including: THE LAST SUPPER, and FEELING MINNESOTA, she landed a role in the Julia Roberts film, MY BEST FRIEND’S WEDDING. She also did voice work for SHREK. |
