Born in Racine, Wisconsin this respected American stage and screen actor who was a popular star of the thirties and forties. Many consider Fredric March one of Hollywood's finest actors.

His real name was Frederick McIntyre Bickel.

Had a long marriage to actress Florence Eldridge and frequently acted in Broadway plays with her.
