| Ingrid Bergman (1915 - 82) Swedish born leading actress who was trained at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm. In 1950 Ingrid Bergman had a forbidden romance (since both were married) with Italian director Roberto Rossellini. She did marry him and they had three children before they got a divorce. Then she married Lars Schmidt, a Swedish theatrical producer. Ingrid Bergman won two Best Actress Oscars: GASLIGHT (44) ANASTASIA (56) Her other Best Actress Nominations were for: FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS (43) BELLS OF ST.
