ABOUT CLAUDETTE COLBERT (1905 - 1996) Born in France, her real name was Lily Claudette Chauchoin. She came to United States when she was 3 and made her debut in silent films in 1927. Claudette Cobert was also nominated for: PRIVATE WORLDS (35) SINCE YOU WENT AWAY (44) Claudette Cobert has performed on Broadway. In 1940 she was reunited with Gable in BOOM TOWN. Claudette Cobert's other credits include: THE SIGN OF THE CROSS CLEOPATRA IMITATION OF LIFE THE BRIDE COMES HOME UNDER TWO FLAGS I MET HIM IN PARIS TOVARISH MIDNIGHT DRUMS ALONG THE MOHAWK ARISE MY LOVE THE PALM BEACH STORY SINCE YOU WENT AWAY THE EGG AND I THREE CAME HOME And in 1986 she starred in a TV-movie titled: THE TWO MRS.
